Death and Decay

by Fronz   Nov 14, 2005

People are dying,
but still i live.
i have no intention of crying,
but still i live.

some say that i am cursed,
but still i live.
others say that i am worse,
but still i live.

others fall down,
but still i live.
they with or without a gown,
but still i live.

i am 504 years old,
but still i live.
even now i have not sold,
but still i live.

i see them decaying,
but still i live.
i see them fraying,
but still i live.

i am cursed,
but still i live.
mabey even worse,
but still i live.

i don't know why,
i can't die,
but still i live.

    Hehehe, nice one Em.
Josh, i thought that had extroardinary potential but there was a little too much repetition. Mayeb if you only used "but still i live" once every stanza.... i dunno. Poetry is meant to mean something to u, so as longa s that's right, its' all good.
    Rock on!
