Great Britain

by Shaw   Nov 14, 2005

A girl walking home
Just from the local shop
Crossing the road
A car to fast to stop

A man waiting for a bus
Going home to his wife
Stands up to yobs
There reply is a knife

A girl going to school
Kissing her Mom good-bye
A man grabs her in a car
Giving her a time till she dies

A father drinking on the sofa
Drinks to much to take
Beats his youngest son
For his own mistakes

A mother supporting 4 kids
Because they have no Dad
Falling into depression
Because she lost everything she had

A Muslim on a train
Thinking hes right
Of goes the bomb
A bang and a light

A teacher teaching teens
Sleeping with one at a time
He doesn't care
That hes committing a crime

A youth spray painting
His name into a wall
It makes him feel big
No longer feels small

A 12 year old girl and boy
Think its fun to touch
But everything goes wrong
A baby's to much

A baby crying for its Mom
As it Cries in a loo
Freezing on its own
Its Mom gone waiting for baby no 2

A man angry with his girlfriend
Beats her till she breaks
So that she tastes blood
And her last breathe she takes

A 15 year old boy
Bullied for being who he wants to be
No one knows
Until they see his dead Body

A old women carrying her bag
Attacked by Men
To old and weak
And she goes to her end

Open a news paper
To see what Ive said
That the beauty in Britain
Is no longer alive but dead

So Boys and Girls
Women and Men
Tell me something
Whats so great about Great Britain

That could be the saddest thing i ever read. I always try to remain upbeat look at things with a positive spin but yeah - this kinda drove it home. What was sad was there was not one thing in that, that was untrue.

That was really deep and you managed to sum up Britain perfectly
