Escaping This Prison

You've made this house a prison,
Of the utmost tightest security.
Like I'm a complete criminal,
And you say I'm losing my sanity.

Step back dad,
Take a look around.
Can't you see the broken hearts,
That you've stamped to the ground?

How can you be so blind?
To the havoc you cause.
To the misleading image,
The guilty crimson on the floor.

I want to rebel against you,
Become everything you hate.
Because I've learned I can't beat this,
If I don't do something it'll be too late.

So I'm failing the schooling,
Because A+ was never enough for you.
I'm becoming a complete wreck,
I don't think I can make it through.

God dad I love you so much,
I hate saying these things about you.
But I need to vent somehow,
To cope with the things you do.

You steal every inch of happiness,
That I was able to achieve.
Like it's your intention,
To force me to leave.

So I'm breaking out of my cell,
To escape the engulfing black.
To find a peaceful hell,
