The myth of love

by Unrequited   Nov 15, 2005

Visions enclosed in glass
and the breath of the black hunters
a desire unfulfilled
sleep your slumber
i will still be here,
watching your every move
my perfect vision of you...
forever enclosed inside the glass
and smothered by the love in my heart

pain... so insignificant when i think of you
i breathe in...
i breathe in the smoke of the smoldering fire
the fire that you once kept aflame for me

i will cry
i will never be set free
i will die
if we let that fire burn away
my heart is ash
if i burn with no purpose
my soul will be nothing...

sleep your slumber
i will still be here,
watching your every move
please... light that fire once more
and as long as you need me
i will forever need you
i will never walk away

i always thought of myself
as a soul forever hurt,
always unrequited
but you're fire has kept me warm inside
i need you,
a myth that i must believe

i need you
and i need you to need me
but i will be here, no matter what
and you will always remain enclosed in glass

sleep your slumber
i will still be here,
watching your every move
...visions enclosed in glass

What are you talking about? This doesn't drag on at all. It's beautiful.
