Did I?

As the child cries,a mother sings her baby a sweet lullaby,
my tears aren't heard,as through the dark i silently pass by,
everyone seems to have atleast someone to love and take care,
the one i love so much,isn't waiting for me anymore out there.

As i painfully sit beneath the shodow of the smiling moon,
my heart is wandering like one of those air filled ballon,
every tear that has gone off my eyes,has made my heart weak,
but what hurts more,is you treating my heart like an antique.

The nights in which i saw dreams of you,has turned into hell,
i have forgotten everything,with only your name left to spell,
darkness seems to suck me in,whenever your face seem to appear,
everytime i come close to touch,you just run away and disappear.

As i get up,the leaves make way for me to genlty walk through,
i wonder whether this journey someday will lead me to you,
i haven't lost the hopes because only on these i survive,
someday you'll get to see me on this very road,dead or alive.

My eyes have captured every step you took,to go away from me,
they are safely placed in my heart,for me to replay and see,
on your every step,a piece of my broken heart was dropped,
mercilessly you just went over them and never really stopped.

Catching hold of time,i'm slowly crawling towards my end,
my love has always been true,b'coz like you i never pretend,
walking in this darkness shown by you,someday surely i'll die,
then i will ask god,i didn't deserve all these god,"Did I??".
