New eyes

by sherida gottuso   Nov 15, 2005

Dark angel, look above, see the stars that have never been seen by yours eyes!

See the moonlight feathering your face?
Open your eyes and remove the blindfold, you have the right to see.
Drop off your shoulders that which burdens you

Remove the chain from your neck.
You are free.

Dark angel, what is it that entraps you? What makes you blind?
What binds you? What burdens you?

Do not cry now that you can see, there's beauty surrounding you. You are a part of that beauty...
What will it take to make you see?
Cleansed and purified...

Push the hair out of your eyes and look up, Silver angel, what you saw before is gone. Don't fear this new sight;

What lies in front of you is beauty.
Beauty that you made, and cared for all there lives.
