A very true poem.....I hate myself every day for trying to look as thin as posible, I don't really want to be a mirror image, but as some people says, mirrors don't lie....and we choose to believe that...Thanks for writing such great poem and for sharing with us all, I loved it =0)

i read alot of ur peoms but this one is my favourite, i can relate to alot of ur peoms as i'm a cutter as well and have faced alot of other things in my life, but i really love just how well you portrayed perceptions in this peom, perceptions by both other ppl and by urself. there's tyms in my life when i look into the mirror and all i see back is hurt, i feeling like vomiting and smashing the mirror into pieces, so yeh this peom touched me :)

Reminded me a lot of stuff I wrote when I myself was a teenager, surrounded by dour convention and mediocre music. I totally agree: be yourself as hard as you can be. For as long as you can.
