As time goes by

by Emily parsons   Nov 15, 2005

One hour ago since we put this to an end,
My tears refuse to fall,
But my eyes they say it all,
I cant break from this trend

Five hours ago since we both said goodbye,
I'm hiding away , drawing the blinds,
Pacing around just to kill time,
Regret now slowly swamping my mind

Ten hours ago since both our voices departed,
Reading each and every word of your letters again
My head fixing all the problems that wont mend
And I'm living in the dream of when we started

7 months ago since i met my match
The one that would keep me alive and well,
Who would listen to all the private things i wont tell,
The one who would kiss my lips of a night,
Holding on to my every word so tight,
Sleeping in your arms and watching you slumber
Content about the spell you've put me under,
You never realised how beautiful you are,
The most amazing person Ive ever met by far,
The one who i thought of day and night
The one i would love for the rest of my life

It was only yesterday that we put all this to rest,
My tears refuse to stop
They just keep falling....
Regret slowly swamping my mind

    I'm sorry I failed you
I love you more than anything and wished we could've made it work
I'm never going to stop loving you EVER!! I refuse to
I'm sorry that I broke my promise to you....The promise of me never hurting you....I wish it could've been different
    I love you always...and forever
