Try to Understand

by the one you forgot   Nov 15, 2005

Try to understand me,
I dare you.
Because this life,
This curse,
This 'act',
Don’t classify me off as
Normal teen rebellion.
I don't fit into your
Perfect family portrait,
I’m everything she's not.
If you could see,
Would you understand?
Because my life doesn’t fit
Into the boundaries you deem as
Perfect.
No, it's far past and beyond
Perfect,
Moving into the district of hell.
So try to understand me,
I dare you,
But don't classify me how you want,
Because you don't know the whole story.
But don't classify me how you want,
Until you know the whole story.
Because this isn't normal,
I may be a teen,
But this isn't rebellion,
This is reality.
