When I Met You

Out of the darkness, into the light
Walked an armored, shinny knight
He walked into my life and opened a door
To a world I have never seen before
He showed me all the good things inside of me
Things that for so long, I have failed to see
He showed me kindness in a gentle smile
And held me close to him for a while
He showed me what dreams are made of
And every day I thank the Lord above
