Where is my heart I'm not quite sure
Is it in the palm of your hand?
Because I can't seem to find it today
I really hope you can.

I knew where it was a few days ago
I had given it to you
But since then I don't feel so good
What in the world did you do?

Did you tuck it in your pocket?
Did you wash it with your clothes?
Did you put it in the garbage can?
Did you use it to blow your nose?

What did you do with that heart of mine?
Where did you put it today?
Please tell me where it is
Because I don't like feeling this way!

I wished you had put it in
A safe place to guard tight
Because if you had I wouldn't
Feel so lonely tonight!
