Unrequited Love

by Vic   Nov 16, 2005

My heart is always agitating
Moving fast but not resuscitating
It needs to be revitalized
Before its death is finalized
Help this pain just vanish
Then this heart can be relinquished
Vividly etched is an irreversible scar
Love... unjustly pushes you so far
Too forgiving and very delicate
Used so much, I completely hate it
The wound has been left bleeding wide
Invaded, infected, both heart and mind
Latent emotions activate
Pains multiply, to completely ache
Loss of blood, loss of love
Seconds away from ascending above
Alleviate this great depression
I've lived enough, a loving person
Somehow giving, rather unrequited
Love is unforced, no use to fight it
Beyond death, I shall always feel
Even if unloved, for you, I'll be here...
