People said they would be supportive
People said they were by my side
People said theyd be understanding
But where were they when I cried?

"I'll be here whatever happens"
"You will never be alone"
But in times of tears and anger
I was always on my own.

Talk is cheap the words come easy.
"I won't ever let you down"
"I'll be here if you should need me"
"When you're sad I'll be your clown"

But I know that you can't take it
When it comes to being tough.
Sometimes it's easier to ignore it
Just forget, try to be rough.

So to justify your actions
Just don't listen, and ignore.
Forget what I have told you.
My problem's yours no more
