But Isabel didn't know dat he dealt drugs on da side

And sadly Isabel thought his every word to be true
After he seduced her poor heart wit a "I love you"
But one night a deal went wrong, someone was shot
N' Ricky was who did it, s'what everybody thought
So da homies of da dead swore to get Ricky back
And all of this shit over a few ounces of crack
A few nights later, Ricky n' Isabel were kickin it
She had no idea of all of Ricky's earlier shit
Then the sounds of bullets rang through the night
As a car in the shadows drove out of sight
Poor Isabel lay dying as Ricky watched
Paralyzed by his own trauma, Ricky sat in shock
He held her in his arms as she took her last breath
Then was finally taken away by cold merciless death
When da word of this murder spread throughout town
The police supposedly tried to figure what went down
But when lies of desperation with half truths got around
No one knew where sly Ricky could be possibly be found
Caring n' sweet was this girl Isabel
Heart breaking, is the story she left to tell
Because this vato couldn't keep his cool
She was sadly killed by some random fool
Isabel Vega, now an angel up above
Remembered by those whom she showed loved
Missed by all for da warm kindness dat she gave
