Broken..

When I seen you the first time I couldn't believe it was true,I'd never meant anyone as perfect as you.
As we started to become friends,I fell in love with you,I knew I wanted more,I wanted to be with you.
You told me how you felt,about me and you,and then I found out that you had loved me too!
So that was my wish,my one little prayer,the man of my dreams was now right there.
I couldn't have been happier all my dreams were coming true,but I never knew that one day I could lose you.
But that day came,and it came to soon,and all I could say was I can't lose you.
Nothing kept the tears from falling,I couldn't believe my luck,I'd lost you forever and right now was long enough.
All the love was gone I had nothing else left,all I had to show for our love was my heart laid to rest.
It's been a couple months and my love still shows for you,you were my first love,I'll always care for you,but that's not good enough because your not here with me I guess I never realized the heartache true love could bring.
