Forgotten?

When you said forever
How long did you actually mean?
And now when I look out to see you
Why is it that you don't look back?

The other day I ran up to you
A cheerful look on my face
And in my most friendly voice
I said a simple Hi

And I looked at you with horror
As you didn't even meet my eyes
Instead you looked through me
Like a window made of glass.

Now I watch you from afar
Wondering what I did wrong
I only wish to talk to you again
But now you only avoid me.

Everyday I wonder what went wrong
Are you ashamed to have ever met me?
I think so much about before
And how close we were.

Unable to let it go.

But that's all in the past now
And I sit and watch the stars all night
Thinking about you and me
