What Spring Will Bring..

I can't wait till the spring,
When winter has past.
When summer awaits,
And is arriving at last.

I can't wait till the spring,
And this you might know,
It's mainly because,
Of the cold and snow.

All that snow does,
Is make it cold,
Snow brings in the hatred,
And makes people less bold..

I can't wait till spring,
Because again we will be,
But right now we are nothing,
Because the snows too slippery.

It might sound corny,
And even not true,
But the reason I hate winter,
Is because I won't see you.

You won't be by skating,
You know you can't skate on the ice.
People expect me,
To forget and be nice.

But I really won't see you,
Every night.
Just like I used to,
When everything felt right.

I remember when,
I sat with you for hours,
And all we did was talk,
And chewed on candy sours.

I wont hear your skateboard,
As a warning your near.
I wont even notice,
And I won't even hear.

This may not make sense,
Coming from me,
But I'm going to miss you,
And that you should see.

If I didn't love you,
Then why would I tell,
Tell you all of my secrets,
And how my life's hell.

I'm afraid you'll forget me,
Or I'll forget you,
And I hope to God, Dan,
That neither of us do.

And without you babe,
I don't know what I'd do.
But I better be prepared,
To be without you.

It may only be 3 months,
But 3 months without you is way to long,
My whole life will change for awhile,
And for this I must be strong.

But maybe when winter,
Has finally past,
We may be together,
Again at last.

Dan, I'll miss you,
You already know why,
But I'll see you again,
This isn't really goodbye.

But maybe it's only,
Goodbye for awhile,
I'm only sad, until spring,
And then I might smile.

I'm so excited,
I really can't wait till spring.
Snow, spring will take.
And, you, spring will bring...
