As a shut my eyes at night
and you tuck me in so very tight
i see you face and precious smile
and i think of you for a little while
When i woke up in the morning
i didn't hear you obnoxious snoring
I walked in the hall and there was no sound
and you sight was no where to be found
I turned the corner and stepped on the rug
as she was crying a gave her a hug
i asked what was wrong and why she was crying
she told me you were gone and i started sighing
They say they love you and will never leave
you assume its a lie and now its a peeve
now i relies they are still here
you just have to believe and then they are near.
