The season is changing,
the weather is turning cold
plants are dying
i am growing old
as the snow falls
the children play
throwing snowballs
when night comes,
get tucked in
tired after a long day
a tear falls down my cheek
child, stay young while you still can
make the most of everyday
don't let this innocence slip away
don't dwell, problems will pass
and remember there will always be a better day
don't forget, you have a purpose,
cause a life without purpose, is no life at all
when you have a question
search for the answer
and in doing so, you'll find yourself
love yourself and let yourself be loved by others
after all, love is what makes the world go 'round
just be a kid
keep those wide eyes open and full of wonder
seek and you will find
always keep looking for that treasure
this is my message to you
don't die as days pass
live every day as if it was your last
and don't grow up too fast
these are the lessons i have learned
and my purpose is let you know
