~this is a poem i wrote for my sister, i know its really long but its the way i feel over her, and her choices and mistakes she makes~

Do you see this heart?
See how it bleeds
Do you see this world torn apart?
See this pain, how it feeds

Do you feel the urge inside?
To take a stand
Do you feel the need to decide?
To find something grand

Do you have the strength?
To make a better choice
Do you have the courage in length?
To be heard, to have a voice

Do you know the way in love?
To live a happy life
Do you know the way to rise above?
And to dodge all this strife

Do you hear the voice within?
Saying what you have missed
When you were off committing your sweet sin

Do you remember when you said these things?
When I was just like you?
Do you remember when you made your life sad as all the happy people sing?
And now I turn to you and say these things too

Do you remember the world before your drugs?
Remember how you showed me the way
Do you remember all the supporting hugs?
Before you let your life decay?

Do you remember who you were before?
When you were always there for me
Do you remember the things before you rotted your core?
And now I am the one making you believe and see

Do you think you should have learned from my wrong?
And now I am the one telling you to become something more
Do you think you could continue on living this way for long?
And now you are an old image of me, pathetic and poor

Do you believe in something more than all the pain you cause?
The terrible life you made, sculpted from my own mistakes
And do you think you are perfect, without any flaws
But truthfully you are not, with all your drug and alcohol intakes

Do you think your choices are foul; they should be better?
Perhaps your mind is escaping, slipping away, going insane
Do you think if you changed you could be a trendsetter?
Think instead of all this hell you could be better and not in pain

Do you feel that your insecure and everyone does not care?
If you had the strength, would you stop everything and change your mind
Do you even believe that your choices to others are not fair?
Even your own loses and pain you will never find

Do you confuse yourself with your pathetic selfish lies?
And your regrets I do not think will ever make you cry
Do you foresee a terrible life in all your sighs?
Sometimes you make me hate you so much I would wish you would die

Do you sometimes imagine giving up all this stuff?
Sometimes your pain makes me uphold a knife
Do you sometimes feel that after all you have had enough?
And that all this time you have cause more than enough strife?

Do you even feel that I have the cares for you?
Are you seeing the hurt I go through just because I worry over you?
Do you even consider the fact that someone cares too?
But I see it in your eyes; you never even had that feeling that makes you blue

You do not see this broken heart
You do not see how heavy it bleeds at all
You do not see this world torn apart
You probably would not even catch me as I fall

Do you even care about anyone other than you?
Would you even wish me to help you out of this hell?
Do you hear the words you said to me too?
And you know, I would try to catch you and help you up if you fell
