I cry as I think
When you walked with her
Why couldn't your arms be round me?
Why were you being so unfair?

You didn't hug her body
The way you hugged mine
Did you mean all the hugs you gave?
Or were you just being kind?

The smiles you gave
I don't think they were real
They meant the world to me
But to you they weren't a big deal.

I'd give anything for your love
I thought it the best
Do you give her the love I want?
As she lovingly leans into your chest

Perhaps nothing was meant to happen

I may as well give up
