Mommy

by Danielle Riddle   Nov 17, 2005

Mommy, I forgive you
Will you please come home?
I never meant to make you leave
You left me all alone

Mommy, I still love you
I need you by my side
I'll forgive all the times
You've ever made me cry

Mommy, I still pray for you
That some day you'll be found
Maybe you can find the strength
To lift yourself up off the ground

Mommy, I have hope for you
You still have time to change
You can still fix my heart
You can dry up all the rain

Mommy, will you try for me
Just try to change your ways
Please tell me that you'll stop
And be my mom today

Mommy, I forgive you
Will you please come home?
I'm sorry its turned into this
But you don't have to be alone

Mommy, I forgive you
Mommy, I still love you
Mommy, I have hope for you
Mommy, Will you try?
