You gave me a life
a life with much meaning.
You tell me I deserve better,
but all i get is pain.
You showed me love when I was down,
but I go out and I get turned around.
You saw in me what no one else could see,
but on the inside my heart is broken.
My mom has never given up on me.
Even though I made her life miserable.
She brought me home from the hospital.
even though I had to go back.
My dad was never there
Its like he doesn't care.
he didn't even give me the time of day.
What a waste it was to hear him say my name.
A family split apart with me stuck in the middle.
not knowing left from right.
Only knowing pain from depression.
