Meet Me At The Heart

by RainbowSlider   Nov 17, 2005

Meet me at the heart, again.
You were my dear friend.
How I remember our kisses
and our heart to heart talks.

Walking down a riverbed
and staring at the water.
Little ones holding our hands
and then to the swings.

Sitting on a park bench
under the great oak trees
with you so close to me
watching the children play.

How I remember your caring nature.
We would be down
to almost nothing to eat
and you would push your plate back.

Such beautiful times we had.
Driving with you so
close beside me
and listening to the radio playing.

Just knowing that you were there.
Feeling your hand clasp mine.
Reaching for my hand
when we walked together.

Such awesome memories.
We always wanted
to be together.
I remember our sharing.

We so liked cuddling
and always everyday
saying I love you.
I miss you so much, darling.

Just to be with you
just one more time.
Just to wake up
with you one more time.

Some day honey we will
meet again and hug so tightly.
Our dreams will begin again
and I will find my lost friend.
