Another place another time

Is there a reason why things happen
or do things happen by chance
If we could look into tomorrow
could we get an early glance
Somehow find the answers
to questions that we know
Left pondering in our minds
trying to surface from below

Think of all the good things
that seem to happen day by day
Or maybe we take for granted
as we let them slip away
If we could look into tomorrows
just a glance without exchange
Would it make us a better person
if not could we really change

I now believe theres a reason
for all the chances we may take
Regardless of our outcomes
our decisions, love and mistakes
Or maybe there is a shelter
buried deep inside our mind
That protects us from our faith
like another place another time
