Why do I have to keep it secret?
My true feelings I have to hide
No one understands me
They say they do but they lie
So this is why I write poems
To let all my feelings show
When my pen hits the paper
It's a way of letting go
Writing helps me
Let what I have to say out
Because I don't like to talk
To me thats what poetry is aboiut
It's a secret way to communicate
To say what I can't say out loud
Writing is an expression of myself
Its what makes me stand out from a crowd
So instead of talking
Or copy anyone else
I write poetry to show my true feelings
To let people know thats how I felt!
