Road to *Goodbye*The final one

by Andrea broken tears   Nov 17, 2005

Driving down this road
no where to go.
Sky so grey
I think it may rain today.
Counting trees
wishing this wasn't me.
See the scars on my wrist
its my suicide wish.
On this lonely highway
hours passing slowly.
Fall asleep,then wake up
its only been a minute.
Taking theses pictures in my head
now wishing I was dead.
This road never winding
staying straight
Now its raining
this journey gets longer
I can't take no more
but yet I still stay in the car.
Like I'm drawn to the road
ever watching the world pass me.
Suddenly death crosses my mind
I'm losing time
this is my end
close my eyes,
see all but the road ahead
I must be dead.
But I open my eyes
and see nothing but road.
So I write this poem
as the final one.

Goodbye!!!

Its a good poem with a lot of emotion and a lot to say. My only sugestion is to really go back and paint the images you are trying to say clearly so the reader can get the whole message from this poem. Good job. 4/5
