Deaths Door

by Tess   Nov 18, 2005

Through deaths door I was headed
Until you took control
You made my thoughts gain meaning
I had to carry on

I did not need distraction
Nothing stood in my way
To stop the acts I had chosen
From taking me away

The blade is still left sitting
Where once, I left it be
As I was finished killing
The numbness left in me

The pain once felt, it hurts
To think of how things were
If not for you, once destined
To open up deaths door
