The beauty of each day,
Miss-matched in disarray,
Hiding under happy faces,
Trapped with in our lonesome places,
It makes me wonder.
Souls imprisoned,
Bound by greed and wealth,
Youth of tomorrow, vicious stealth,
Set out to prove,
Got nothing to loose,
It makes me wonder.
Oppressed women,
Cowering in shadow,
Faith and hope hollow,
Trapped in abusive love,
Never going to be enough,
It really makes me wonder.
Corrupted children,
Innocence exploited,
Cruel world has destroyed them,
Stolen childhood,
Terribly misunderstood,
It really makes me wonder.
Living in this perfect hell,
A world of contradiction,
A lifetime of misinterpretation,
Pretend its alright, when its all wrong,
Stuck on repeat of a dead-end song,
