Listen

Listen

Listen, can you hear it?
Staggered gasps for breath as she weeps,
Her resting son laid low, laid deep but,
Seems as though he really sleeps
Listen, listen.

Wait, listen, can you hear it?
Despairing shudders as tears roll down,
In his head he's screaming but,
His tears dont make a sound
But listen, just listen.

Yes, listen, can you hear it?
Muffled sobs in hollow, cold night,
Can't piece her life together,
Try as hard as she might,
Please listen, listen.

Just listen, can you hear it?
That desperate wailing from Hells depths,
He's shredding his life apart,
When he realises theres nothing left,
Keep listening, listen.

Listen, can you hear it?
The seep of blood as our failing hearts bleed,
For our wasted lives, our lost cause,
Theres no honest truth to believe,
Listen, cant you hear it?

I can hear it, and it is a wonderful poem. Vivid imagery, nice flow.
