Rise and Fall

I'd rather be dreaming,
Than in this world living,
Coz in dreams you feel no pain,
And to live is fall and rise and fall again.

Where in life jack-alls worth believing,
Where happiness comes and fades coz most good things are deceiving,
And in dreams you feel no pain,
But to live is fall and rise and fall again.

Where in dreams you can speak from your heart,
Coz beginning is ending, finish is start,
Coz in dreams you feel no pain,
And to live is fall and rise and fall again.

In dreams your soul cant break,
Your heart wont bleed from the same mistakes,
In dreams you dont deny or pretend,
Where in life you lie for your own defence,
And I'm tired of it, dont care to live,
My heart is drained, tears run dry,
I search for truth but all I find is lies.

So I prefer it when I'm dreaming,
Than awake and forever seeing,
Empty smiles, and I know I'm in denial,
I fooled myself into trying again,
I've risen and fallen so many times now it all feels the same.
