Simply Red

The isolated walls of his four part hell
And now he's got the time to learn his story well
Starting with the jealousy and bleeding to the end
Quick fists of impact degrading to her face
Didn't ever stop him, pounding till she's raw
Now shut away behind his locked up door
A sea of sin upon his red tint hands
But she forgave it for she was drawn to him

Dilapidated graveyard with her name upon the sign
States 'In loving memory' thats the night he crossed the line
One push and her eyes widen but she is forgiving
Two cries of pain and soon she's forgiving the floor
His inked fingers twitch once more he can't sleep
Seeing only red and gunshots as he covers her in sheets
One hold and her eyes drifted but she is not breathing
Two cries of regret and now she lays on the floor
No excuse for a cold blooded killing
You are sentenced to life welcome to the law
