I see you in the darkest corners
The coldest nights
I know your there, watching me
From a distance where I can't quite reach you
But I still try too
I glance at you through the looking glass
Sometimes I get scared
In fear that I may never reach you
Touch that cold but soft skin I see
I wonder if you can hear me?
Can you feel my burning anger?
I live on its flames
But sometimes they burn my delicate skin
I watch the snow outside the window
As it flows in the wind
Its soul is alive
Can you feel it?
Can you even feel at all?
You've become so cold over the years
Just like the snow I so solemnly watch
Maybe, I can warm your cold heart
With the heat from mine
Maybe my gift can heal your wounds
Prehaps we can heal each other
If only I could reach you
I would try
But for now, I can't
So I'll just watch you
As you watch me
Through the looking glass
