The Forest (bounty hunters)

by Leslie   Nov 18, 2005

Night echoes throughout the trees
The creatures of day hide away
Winds pick up and clouds gather
The night here belongs to them

The set out on their way each preparing for what’s to come
Startled they begin but soon their courage grows
They sense out there victims and stalk in the dead of the night
The unsuspecting kill has no chance of survival

Hours of silent stalking and careful planning until
Soon their plans come to formation as each herds their victim
Strategy and tactics have been long over due
The creatures have waited so long for this kill

Their leader has been waiting so long now
The creatures are ready to make their move
Patiently they herd to the altar ready for sacrifice
As the moon is in clear sight in the dead of the night

Screams of the victims echo through the skies
Still the creatures stand united now ready for their bounty
They’ve worked so hard for him and now its time to repay
Claim their bounty and return until another night
