Death Creaps Slowly

by J B Greynolds   Nov 18, 2005

Death creeps slowly,
down my back,
and up again,
phone rings,
I jump,
I answer it,
The phone is dead,
death creeps slowly,
down my back,
and up again,
Tired and weary,
I go to bed,
Death creeps slowly,
Down my back,
but not up again,
for I am dead.
