Sitting in your corner chair,
You always used to say,
You're the only hope in the family,
You'll be the queen one day.

Although for many years,
We lived miles apart,
We were always together,
Together in our hearts.

Thinking back on our memories,
Of the times we smiled,
But also of the bad ones,
Wen e were sad for a while.

I can honestly say,
I never felt this way,
I never thought today would be the day that no matter how much i hoped or prayed,
You died, and went away.

I wish I'd had the chance,
To take your hand one more time,
Hold you close and say with empty hope,
That everything would be fine.

I wish I'd had the chance,
To get to know you even more,
To learn everything about you,
Before you went knocking on heavens door.

I wish,
I wish,
And i wish even more,
But its no good, You're not coming back anymore.
