hard to believe a word could tear you apart as much as this 4-letter word does

It spews out of your enemies mouth, and worse of all the mouths of those you try to please

It can turn happiness to sadness
which can lead to depression from the feeling of isolation

The hatred can turn your heart to stone You no longer trust your real friends suddenly everyones out to get you

Then it becomes too much to take
you find yourself turning towards a knife for comfort You say it won't become a habit but it already has

Then one night after months of questioning your life and your purpose in the world you pick up the knife and slash and slash yourself till you can no longer feel the hate or anything at all

The power of the hate was too much for you, you were too weak to stop it from creeping into your soul and hiding out

Then that fateful night it took control of you and sent you into your slashing rage, and killed you

If only hate were just a four letter
