I Never Hated You

All I wanted was to stand by your side,
To show you whats right,
To keep you in sight,
I never hated you.

I wanted to see you smile,
Straighten your frown,
Strengthen your will,
I never hated you.

I wanted to help you out,
Show you a way,
Hold your hand,
I never hated you.

But you took it the wrong way.

Dont you get it?
I cared for you,
I looked out for you,
I kept evil away from you,
I never hated you.

Dont you get it?
I wanted to guard you,
I wanted to defend you,
Protect you
I wanted to embrace you,
I loved you-
I never hated you.
