Goodbye to a friend

You have been by my side helping me every step of the way.
But you leaving means that i need to be on my own, without your help of any kind.

I opened up to you, so you know every little thought and that scares me.
Someone who knows me the way you do is hard to let go.
But you cant be there to help me forever, i know that.

You knew i was going to react the way i did, and you knew how angry i was going to be.
Doesn't that tell you something, it tells me that i need you.
I just don't know what to do about it.
