Happy Birthday Mama

by Lola Granny   Nov 19, 2005

Dear Mama today would of been your seventy first birthday today But the Dear Lord has called you home and now I can only pray

That you hear this speical birthday wish coming from my heart in so many ways Iam sorry that it could not be in a present for your display

With a bright bow on the package in many arrays Because I know you would of loved it no matter what anyone would say

I hope the sun is shining down on your golden wings from Gods display For He was the one whom has taken you so far away

Too heal and comfort your body from the cancer that was ablaze In your tiny body that was fragil and had come of age

So I sure hope Mama you get this greeting card in some way Because in it you will find my heart forever more than I can say

As I wish you a Happy Birthday Mama from me today And hope the Dear Lord will send you back soon this way

So I can look once more into your beautiful eyes of hazel and grey Like I did before the good Lord called you back home on that cold day

And was able once again to see you blow out your candles on your cakes display While making a wish and thanking the Lord for another birthday that came your way

Before leaving behind your family you had loved more and more each day And rejoicing with other family members already waiting in heaven with presents of arrays

So Mama even if this birthday card is blown away by the winds of Heavens bright blaze I do sure hope you get to open it and find whats left inside of it today

Because its my heart that was broken in half to be carried for display As this is all I have left and wanted you have in the most loving way
