Society

You make me ashamed of what I do have
You make me ashamed of what I don't,
And whenever I want to do something
You bully me, so I won't.

You judge me as if it's necessary
You make me worry about my shape,
You criticise the things I do
You make me believe i've made mistakes.

You make me ashamed of what I do not know
You make me feel niave,
You teach me things that scare me to hear
You make me doubt my beliefs.

You show me things that shock me to see
Force me to witness things I don't understand,
You tell me what seems wrong is right
You try to force me to stand how you stand.

You forced me to grow up too fast
You tore me out of my childhood,
You pushed me into the world and made me learn
But things still aren't understood.

You taught me that I'm always wrong
You made a perfection that can't be reached,
You make the unique feel out of place
You made me ashamed of me.
