Now I lay me down to sleep asking the lord why he did this to me. Can't you see i am so very young, why would you choose me? I have asked for forgiveness many times, but you granted not one wish of mine. You gave me a life of sorrow and pain, you lord are the one i blame. i know as i sit here crying you can see my tears, and then you go and grant me even more fears. What could I have done so wrong to deserve this life you have given me? i used to praise your name, and pray to you, but now I can see you are not true.
Now i lay me down to sleep, begging you lord bring him back to me, I miss him so very much, you see. I have begged for the power to move on, and to let go, but the pain is all you seem to show. I just need a sign, show me that you can hear this prayer, please, I really need him there. I live with this sorrow and this pain, please help me, and I shall once again honor your name.
Now I lay me down to sleep saying o the lord " let me in heaven for i have done my time in hell." I gave away my heart, but my life is something he had to steel. O lord please give me something to gain, I honestly can't handle anymore pain. Please lord take my hand in the darkness of the night, and take me to show me I will soon see the light.
