My days are long my nights are longer
My heart is strong but in my mind I wonder
How can you love me when I have been so wrong
How can you sing to me your beautiful song
It must be a gift from God to you
To give me your love so pure and brand new
I think you're an angel sent from above
Only you have the strength to give me this love
I love you today - I will love you tomorrow
I will wipe away your tears - make joy from sorrow
It's a struggle each day that we are a part
But I give you my promise and all of my heart
