Two buildings fell in New York today
Tears were wept that can never be wiped away
Lives were taken in a moments time
Because of hatred some committed crime
They turned human being into ash and dust
And ruined earths precious crust
The spot they attacked now naked and bare
All we have left to do is stand and stare
How could some people be so cruel
Violence is not something taught in school
What is the world coming to be
Why don't people just try to see
That without violence and hatred around
Peace and love could finally be found
