*For those of you that don't know the technical parts of poetry, you may not understand the rhyme scheme to this poem. This is a Petrachan. Beside each line I put the letter, and the letter match those of the same letter*

A: Rape, drugs and abuse on the street
B: Teens trying to grow old too fast
B: This is the future, don't live in the past
A: Thugs and gangstas trying to bring some heat

A: Kids having kids day after day
B: HIV and STD's raise in percent
B: Heres your life today, tomorrow its spent
A: The best years of life and kids just throw them away

C: Kids don't know the price of raising a child
D: From clothes to diapers to the food to feed a baby
E: Then you need toys, and you gotta buy a bed
C: Think about that before you go buck wild

D: This is a young age, so don't be crazy
E: Live your life to the fullest and get drugs and violence out of your head
