What do you want me to say?

What do you want me to say?
what do you want me to tell you?
do you want me to lie?
do you want the truth?

shall i say i love you?
cuz we both know thats not true,
that it is the worse of lies,
will tear our friendship apart.

shall i say i hate you?
because that is not true either,
in me does not lie the ability,
to hate a living guy.

i do care about you,
you are a friend is suppose,
but i cannot say i care more,
my pride will not let it show.

so what do you want me to say?
what do you want me to tell you?
do you want me to lie?
or give you the painful truth?

what do you want to hear?
a lie that brings a smile to your lips or,
the truth that will bring tears to your eyes?
choose now and save me from my sorrow.

    Great poem. If you want my advice, I think you should tell the person that you care about them. I know that by experience. I lost the only person that understands me 2 months ago. I never told that person I cared and that person thought I didn't care that I was making her so hurt that she cut herself. Now we're not friends and I would do anything to get my friend back and be a good friend to her. Please don't make the same mistake as me. It was my worst ever. Thanks for reading and commenting my poem. =] Sadly, it's true most of the time. =[
