Life

by master of shadow   Nov 20, 2005

Life is like a river,
it twists and turns,
its course cannot be determined,
nor can it be controlled,
many routes that it may take,
but all end up the same,
all reach the ocean,
a chasm in this world,
made deep by the tears of misery,
and wide by the suffering and pain,
this is were we are all destined,
it is were we all will be,
what happens before matters not,
for we all end up this way.

This poem is very true, all people end up in the same place and what happened before then doesn't matter.

I love it how you give life a whole new meaning than what you would find in the dictionary. You can tell this has a lot of emotion in it.
