The Tree Of Friendship

by Sarah Ann   Nov 20, 2005

The tree of friendship had me here
By strings of ropes to wipe a tear
Right at the roots I lost my stand
The tree of friendship took my hand

And side by side we walked along
To undo all that we did wrong
With branches that shot up so high
The tree of frienship filled the sky

And in it there, it lured me in
With shades and masks to wear a grin
A devil's food to eat me whole
The tree of frienship took my soul
