To Far Away To Turn Back

by Dave Allmon   Nov 20, 2005

Time has ran out once again
I told myself to never begin
I ran away to a place you would never guess
This could be the final test of life
I ran away
So cold to make this move I would never make
But the day my world iced over
Is the day you broke my heart
I ran away

Time has gone by slow, to slow again
I know myself, why did I begin again
Questions with no answers
Blood on my back from when you stabbed me
Live life with to many hazards
Sorry I ran so far away
I thought my problems were in this place
I ran away

Time has stopped once again
I told myself I could find a true friend
I ran so far away there was no chance of survival
I missed the chance to see one more smile
I ran away
To much pain to stay in a place that turns you cold
I ran away
To far to see day light
And to far to find myself at night
You said you could make this right
You lied yet once again
Time has stopped once again
You will never be a true friend
I ran away and never came back
Dont ever stab me in my back
I ran away
