I Want That One

by Depressed_Without_Reason   Nov 21, 2005

A little girl and her mother pass a pet store. The little girl sees a little brown puppy, points, and says, "I want that one." The mother agrees to buy it.
Three weeks later, as the little girl was playing in her yard with her puppy, the puppy ran across the street. As the little girl ran across to get the puppy, a drunk driver hit the little girl, and she died instantly.
Two days later, on the night of the girl's funeral, the mother sighed and looked at a picture of her little girl and the puppy. "I want that one," she said as she pointed to the little girl and cried softly.
